Exhausted but Happy

...even in our sleep, pain that we cannot forget falls drop by drop upon the heart, until in our own despair, against our will, comes wisdom...

Hope for wisdom to come from hope

If that's what you're talking about.

I have something happy to share!
We did yoga today in Aerobic Fitness and I walked out of class super relaxed (even though I was still tired) I realized I need to kind of sit down...and take things one at a time.
Yay for yoga!

Somewhere, sometime, a man was shot sideways, across his stomach, causing evisceration. He falls to the ground, his life draining out of him.
A part of him died on that long forgotten battlefield.
He left that part behind. The rest of him picked up his gutted body, and then picked up his guts. And walked to an aid station.
He remarked to me over drinks "Hope? I had no hope. I should be dead. I should be dead a million times over."

A true story from a stunt coordinator I met on the set of movie that was being filmed near my vacation last summer. Think of Mr. Knalefc only taller and covered in tattoos. (On a side note: He had awesome scars, he had been shot 9 times (I think it was nine) apart from numerous other things.)
